I bought this about a week ago and have used it since...the foundation and blush that is...I looooove the foundation, and find it to be better than some of the uber luxury brands that I own!!! It has a nice light coverage, (which is my jam) and is just dewy enough to be really pretty...I don't know, I just find that this really beautifully evened my skin out and just makes me look pretty...I say, it's inexpensive enough to at least give it a whirl!!! The blush is just okay, but it sets waaay too fast for my taste, but it's super pretty and lasts all day...all in all, the foundation is just amazing to me, but different strokes for different folks!!!

I have really red acne, and I felt that one application covered it really well, I used a bit more than a pearl but it really brightened my skin up, took away the redness almost completely, and evened my skin tone out perfectly. I was super pleased by it, and I found it was better coverage than my concealer stick.

Having combo oily skin the foundation actually sounds exactly what I would want, I have no problem setting this with a powder on days when I want something less. I really appreciate it when incluencers describe why they didn’t like something because that might be the exact reason why someone else might love it!

clint bizkit I haven’t tried this one (yet) but as a fellow no foundation - sometimes tinted moisturizer - gal most of the time, two I’d highly recommend are the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation (been my fave for awhile) & the Believe Beauty Foundation (very recent discovery & perhaps new #1; amazingly it’s dollar general’s beauty line...only $5 & its SO nice!!). I haven’t had the chance to put the Believe to the test quite as much as I’ve only worn it a handful of times & only in winter weather whereas the PF was my go-to for my brother’s wedding & surrounding events last year in Charleston, aka long days/ nights in heat & humidity & all things considered it did quite well, but the Belief is definitely giving it a run for its money as my new go-to fave for when I do reach for something more than my tinted SPF.

I just tried this product now, and it is not greasy! Its hydrating and gives my skin a nice glow. Definitely sheer but it certainly helped reduce the whitecast from my sunscreen. I applied a pearl sized amount with my fingers and gently blended it in. For $10 canadian I'm not mad at it and it does as advertised.

I love this foundation, but I have found that it absolutely works best with a damp sponge (I use my pink L’Oréal sponge). I know that people always say not to use a sponge with sheer foundations because it soaks up too much product, but honestly I do not find that to be the case on my skin. I feel like a sponge gives me the most even coverage, and with this foundation, I actually get more coverage than I expected with this application method. My skin looks even, hydrated, and blurred. Same for the blush-I spread some on the back of my hand, swipe the sponge through it, then dab it on my cheek that way. It still isn’t my absolute favorite formula but I find that the more surface area I can cover at once, the better!

I never put creams over powders. I've tried it, but I just find that applying powders after creams just works so much better, especially with the cream blushes. I really like that shade. I was going to pick up the Flower blush that everyone has been talking about - Pinched - but I may get the one you just demonstrated. It looks very cool-toned and I like that it has a light glow.

I purchased the Profusion Classics as I like the color story. The matte colors blend well, but the shimmers are a bit shimmery without enough base color (imho). I also purchased (based on your use) the Catrice Calif in a Box bronze/blush palette - LOVE it. I wanted to pick this up - forever, but found the price $14.99 too much, but got lucky and found for half off at Ulta - I grabbed the last 'un-compromised' palette!

You should try putting it on the back of your hand and take a Real Techniques Setting Brush and start dabbing it into the brush to sheer it out on your hand then immediately go to your cheeks with it OR mix it with another cream blush of a similar shade from a different brand and apply with a brush. The quick dry thing is very weird.*

Anytime I use liquid or cream blush (out of a tube or pump), I always put it on the back of my hand and take it on the brush from there. I never put it directly on my face... Even the best ones don't work as well as when I put it on the back of my hand. I am surprised people don't think to do this. Cream/liquid blush is my favorite and I have mastered the application (if I say so myself)😉

I think I would apply the blush after warming it up on the back of my hand and then using a sponge or a soft duo fiber stippling brush. I think applying it so heavily directly to the cheek just naturally lends itself to needing heavier blending.

I just ran into the blush at my local Meijer store... it's so pretty, I'm willing to give it a few more tries, maybe using my fingertips to blend quickly. There's such a glow to it like no other powder product. I can't say I'm too impressed with the skin milk foundation per your review; unless someone is either trying it in a warmer climate/Springtime here, or just doesn't need much more than a light coverage.
