Yes, making the rope ladders is tedious, but they are so beautiful! But can you imagine having to climb them in heavy seas!

Buddy sleeping on the job? You should dock his wages 😄. Are you roughly three weeks ahead in construction of the videos you post if this one was recorded on August 19th? You have bought figures of crew members for this model too I seem to remember. Will you include them? Quality work, John. 👍

She is coming together nice John. I have a question about the deadeyes, I am using the same tool a you to feed the ropes through the holes but many times I need to use drill tip first to open the holes in the deadeyes. painfull and a waste of time to drill out the deadeyes 1 by 1. Did you have encounter the same problem in any of your builds. Glue is not the issue blocking the holes. maybe it is because they are made from plastic. Hope you can give me some advice, it slows me down a lot in rigging my Beagle.

Hi Peter! Thank you very much!!! It has to do with the size of the rope vs the size of the hole. I have the same problem usually with the 0,5mm ropes against the holes of the blocks. The drilling is required with a drill tip from 0,9 and up to 1,2 mm depending of the rope. Just think that when you pull the rope you have 2 ropes in the hole, so a 0,5mm is going to be hard to pass through a 0,7-0,8 hole.
