Lovely vlog! I love Vietnam! 😊🎉❤ l love that they serve an abundance of greens💚 like it's a bread basket. I douse the pho🍲 with copious spurts of sriracha and hoisin. l love the French influence - the cafes☕️, the pate in and baguette 🥖of the bánh mi. Those bonbons looks so yum and so French 🇫🇷indeed! I fondly remember Fanny's ice cream🍦🍨 (coconut flavor ftw!) and Quon An Ngon resto. For self-care, I remember having a hair spa - just an hour of having my hair shampood and my head 💆♀️ massaged! 😊 For souvenirs, I remember copping a lacquer jewelry box and then also white embroidered cotton bedding.

Great comparison to a bread basket! Very apt. 🥬 Yes, their food is definitely something else. The way you describe it makes us miss our Vietnamese meals so much! 🥲 The pate alone...

You're suppose to pick the leaves off the stem and put them in your pho. With the longer herbs, just break it in half and put it in your broth. They give you plenty because you can add more as you eat. Vietnamese ppl love fresh herbs.
@RalphSamАй бұрын
they do love their fresh herbs. we realized you break them up after watching the table next to us 😂

9:47 So true! Simplest, clearest tip I got from the hotel staff I stayed at on how to cross the road in Vietnam is to simply "commit". Step in, do not hesitate, press on. 😊

Hi there, Just a note. Please pick the basil leaves of the stem then into the soup. I found out that pho in Vietnam is just average at best because of the small amount of beef bones that they use to make the broth. Most of the time the bones are for sale so they are taken out of the soup pot a few hours early.

1 ổ bánh mì 70 nghìn á? O_O I haven't been back to Vietnam since COVID, but a jambon baguette at that price is absurd! One Vietnamese baguette for 70,000 VND is a bit too expensive, don't you think? Hmm...
