Last time I posted one of these "A Day on the KCE" videos was back in June. So, it's been a while. Also, for those who don't know Roman Numerals, "XIV" is 14. These videos are a little different than the regular rail fanning video in that, yes we have typical rail fanning shots, but we also chase trains and see a little bit of Ops too. So hopefully there's something for everyone in this on going series.
Also, there are two errors in the video's text info. The IAIS unit on the KCE train is shown as the 514, when it's actually the 504. Then in the side by side BN and KCS runby, in the credits the KCS is shown as being owned by the club's President Richard, however it is actually owned by the club's VP Bill.
Think I said last week that I was going to start another Ops Session series today (from John Acheson's Argentine Division model railroad), however I wanted to clear out my back log of club clips first. So, I will start John's session next Sunday. His N scale layout is the late 70s era Santa Fe here in the Kansas City area out west to Topeka, KS.
Gonna keep this short and end it here. OH, I have no idea how it works... or will work, but I'm trying this new "premier" feature here on KZbin for this video. As I type this, it's a bit after 12:40am and I'm scheduling the video to go live at 9am Central. Apparently after the video is done uploading and is processed, it will show a preview? I think? I don't know for sure. With it being Sunday morning, it's the one morning I get to sleep in, so I always schedule videos to go live at 9am. So I'll probably be snoozing when all this premiering stuff is going on. So you'll have to let me know if anything happened in the comments. :D
So much for keeping this short. ANYWAY, Wednesday I'll have some Santa Fe Junction action, then like I said, next Sunday starts John Acheson's Ops Session form the 19th of January. All right, I'm done here. Thanks for watching and see you next time!

They need a few tropican cars in front of the container train.
@RailfanJason
@RailfanJason 5 жыл бұрын
Though, I do like that idea and have wanted some Tropicana reefers, I've always understood those pretty much stay in or around Florida don't they? This layout is set in the upper midwest, so the'd be out of place. Least I've never seen any up here in the Kansas City area. Correct me if I'm wrong. :D

I was wondering if you have a fictitious KCE route map? Do you use old RI and CGW trackage?
@RailfanJason
@RailfanJason 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have a system map of the KCE. Most of its trackage is original to the railroad, but there are a handful of areas where they have trackage rights. UP, CSX, Iowa Interstate, and Wheeling & Lake Erie. I'll post a pic on my KZbin channel's community page.
