This Rivet Counter AC4400CW is fully detailed and comes with ESU DCC and sound from the factory. The paint on it represents the BNSF Heritage II paint scheme. It's heavy and it has exceptional running qualities. Take a look!
From the ScaleTrains website:
Aside from wreck victims, nearly all prototype AC4400s are still in revenue freight service. And with burgeoning rebuild programs, this powerhouse locomotive class will likely be in service for many years to come.
The Rivet Counter™ series AC4400CW is the definitive HO Scale model of GE’s revolutionary six-axle alternating current traction locomotive. Our model combines smooth operating performance with unparalleled railroad, road number, and era specific™ details along with industry-leading LED lighting features.

Very impressive and handsome ac4400cw model from Scaletrains, I like that a manufacturer finally produced an accurate model of a BNSF ac4400 since most of the BNSF GE locomotive fleet is dash 9's and multiple classes of Gevos.

I wish Scaletrains would release an sd70ace. They would be incredible with the detail they include in there models

Very impressed with Scaletrains. This beats the hell out of my Athearn RTR models. Waiting on my 2nd Scaletrains GEVO to arrive soon.

Thanks for a great 👍 review! I got the scale train version of the csx ac44 but the athearn Genesis ac44 for cefx. I also like athearn Genesis ac44 locomotives

Just got my N Scale Version in the CSX YN2 Scheme. It Also has the new manual which is so easy to use. It lists the optional horns, bells, and air compressers

These are absolutely beautiful models, and run and sound fantastic. Lots of nice little touches on these (wheels, etc). I picked up 4 (yes, 4 lol) of the CSX YN2 scheme ones.

I hope one day we see rotating bearing caps on N scale locomotives. I asked Shane about that during the Road Trip in CA, and he mentioned that it was a miracle we can even get the Rivet Counter locomotives in the fine detail we have now. But I can still dream!

That silver piece next to the engineers windows is actually another mirror that can be rotated around so they can see the conductor from the ground "better" if we're on the ground right next to the cab. Most engineers just fold them down parallel to their armrest on the outside sill and look out the window still. Awesome model though, looks exactly like 5652 which was just in the Stockton sub out here in California.

@@tsgmultimedia hi there , I have watching your reviews on Ho locomotives . I'm starting out in HO an leaving N scale after decades. The old eyes yah know . So a fresh start , my question being is , in your opinion what Manufacturer has the reliability and slow performance , I mainly enjoy switching . Budget is not my first concern , reliability is with smooth low speed operations are . I want DCC/SND just don't want to be disappointed off the hop into HO .. Thanks much , cheers ..

Hi @@sammym.belfastchild I do these programs so you can see what you're getting. Your best bet is to watch for ones you're interested in then check out the video. There are no special effects happening here. I show you what you get up close and run it if it runs (like a locomotive).

@@tsgmultimedia I have watched hours an hour of reviews , then you look in the comments and read the horror stories... and then my extreme OCD kicks in and I stall out ..lol , maybe a better question to ask is If you were buying a locomotive what Manufacturer would you lean towards... I was really liking the Rapido GE U25Bs and the SW1200s , But omg after reading the stories of locomotives not working out of the box ,one Reviewer mentioned a friend bought 11 rapido SW1200 or so and 7 didn't operate out of the box . I was wt* So now I'm like .... I was also looking at the Athearn Genesis MP15ac and SD39 , and even some Bowser locomotives . I have no loyalty yet to any brand as this is my first outing into HO , not like some people and car brands. Thanks

@@sammym.belfastchild I don't know who said Rapido gave them problems, but something to consider is that you never know who is posting negative information. It seems to me like your best bet is to start off with just one model of the prototype you really want and go from there. I'd be shocked if you have the kinds of problems you read about.

CSX AC44s are pretty hard to find now. I have CSXT 113 and BNSF 5652 and both are fantastic

John, That mirror in the middle of the window area, if the brakemen or conductor are down on the step of the locomotive, the engineer can adjust his front side mirror to see the reflection of the trainman without leaning out the window so as to see them. They are on most of the wide-.cab type of locos Also I am John Graddon's Uncle George . Could you email how to use pay-pal to join your train crew, thanks hope the info helps.
