Things are slowing down a bit but I'm excited to start weathering more with the powders.

Geez man I thought that was on purpose, the ‘sag’ you mention is just how the wall naturally settled over the years! The weathering looks so awesome, keep it up!!! While you have the time anyways…I remember how it was 😅

Really good update Dave and congrats on the new addition coming. Take it from a dad and grandpa it's a life changer, but I still had the time railroading and other modeling. I agree on the comment about the wall sag cause one that tall with rail service above and below will start to show stress and failure. Take care and happy holidays to you and yours.

I’m loving this scene as it comes together. Great job on the weathering and nice new pick ups. Any more cars and you’ll have to build … an expansion!

Looks awesome Dave!! Great job so far on your scenery and weathering!! I'm liking that retaining wall and I think the chain link fence will look great once you have it set in. I have a package of that fencing as well. Haven't figured out where I will use it yet however I still have a lot to do on my layout🤷‍♂️ Where did you get your weathering chalks from? I've used some pastels for a couple of weathering projects however they were not self adhering pigments like I noticed you had. Thanks Jason! These are Monroe self adhering powders, and they came in an 8 pack. I picked them up from Otter valley but I'm sure they're sold elsewhere. They were really easy to use and I'm happy with them considering they weren't very expensive and made it easy to try it out. Happy Holidays to yourself and your family and happy New Year!

Thanks Nicholas! I do plan on weathering most of my stuff. My end game is to have everything looking pretty old and barely maintained, but I wanted to practice on something a little cheaper than a loco lol. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!
