HO Scale Railfanning at the Kansas CIty Eastern Model RR Club

Got a fairly easy video for today, basically an HO scale railfanning video. All the trains in this one are manifests and all of them are long, with no less than three unit consists. Isn't often everyone just happens to run the same kind of trains on the same day... big long manifests.
These sorts of videos are pretty easy to edit together, it's the Ops Videos that require a lot more work. With the Run/Ops video I did before this one, and with two more Ops vids in the works, I decided I was gonna take it easy this weekend.
Wednesday starts my Santa Fe Junction series. I was out there on the 11th and will have a nice set of videos to go along with it. Next weekend I'm not sure yet, it will be an Ops oriented video, but I'm not sure if it will be the HO one I have, or I may do the N scale session I attended yesterday. We shall see.

Cool. The club is open every Wednesday and Saturday at 10am or so and usually go till 4 or 5pm. We had another club visist this passed Saturday even, so if anyone else from your club would like to come, everyone is welcome.

Nice meets and you have awesome HO Scale trains going. Last Friday during Thanksgiving break, I bought a ES44AC Evolution locomotive named Citirail. I have will have that one running after my train set that my dad and I are currently building together. You'll see a lot of HO Scale videos from me when it's all done. I am wondered that you guys still use a caboose as I never see them any more on present freight trains.

Our club mandates that all trains run on the layout must have a clear "End" on each train. Weather it's a flashing rear end device, a caboose, a business car, or shoving platform. That way if someone's train separates while running and we don't see it happen, we then know if we don't have a clearly marked end of the train, there's part of a train sitting on the mainline somewhere that could be a collision risk to someone else's train. It just comes down the personal preference of the train's owner as to what they have on the end of their train.

What's the best way to graffiti freight cars? I'm new to the hobby.

There are numerous companies that make graffiti decals. I've discovered it's best to apply them after you weather the cars (if you are going to weather them).

Another great video of some really nice trains running on a Awesome layout. Wish it wasn’t 1000 miles from me but it is on my bucket list to hopefully visit someday. Thanks! Humps are usually caused where two modules meet. Over the years, they can sag in the middle, causing the ends of the modules to raise up a little.

how big is the club layout?

The layout is 76'x62' and it's M shaped. It works out to around 7.5 scale miles around.
