Hey Jason, I know this is slightly off-topic, but I wanted to let you know that your 110-car string of hoppers has found a new home here in Huntsville Alabama. A couple friends of mine in Fayetville, Tennessee, split a few of the Rio Grande and all the OGEX hoppers, but I kept everything else. It gets a regular three to four hours of running out at my local club every Tuesday. Anyways, just thought you'd like to know your hoppers went to a good home, they'll be appreciated for a long time. Will have a video up soon.

Nice looking layout in what state is your layout in?

I had seen a clip of this model railroad before, but I don't remember it being this large. That bridge is an amazing prototype - and model railroad - achievement. Is the real bridge still in use? Lots of industries to keep local peddler freights busy. Love the branch line. This layout has something for everyone!
@RailfanJason4 жыл бұрын
Yes, the UP uses the bridge today. So they have the two largest bridges in Iowa, Kate Shelley being the other. Got to see that one a couple years ago, insanely massive.

Please slow down the camera movement as the speed you are moving blurs the scene and tends to make me ill...Would like to have taken some pictures so I could remember things I saw but the speed of the camera and the video were blurry when I viewed my shots. The layout looks great but I would have liked a slower tour. Slower camera movement...

Camera battery was about to go out, this was near the end of the session so I couldn't take the time to go slower.

@@RailfanJason No excuse as there are fully charged batteries available. If I had used this excuse when working for CBS, I would have been fired. It takes only a few seconds to change a battery and you can edit out the change. No excuses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@davidcurtis5398 Excuse me? First off, this isn't CBS. I'm some dude with a beat up 6 year old camcorder that needs to be replaced, and Second, my camcorder has ONE battery which literally has been superglued back together. Third, I've been editing videos for 10 years on YT, I know what's involved. Lastly, don't like what I post, don't watch it.
