If you have the standard magnetics in high down force, how do you align additional magnets on the side of the motor. For more power and down force? Can magnetic particles or filings be mixed into the frame plastic. Giving a magnet frame.

Question, what makes my track either high or low down force? I have a AFX track and my club has a MaxTrax track. Should I be running hi on my track and reverse the mags for my club’s track? Thanks for your help. Rocky P

Rocky thanks for the question. Different brands use different thickness rails. For instance the Tomy rail spec is .015 Thick compared to the max trax which I believe is around .022" wide. This is a difference of 50% which means the Max is a high down force track. ( Also rail height varies but does not affect the car the same as the width. Rail width rules over rail height) If your running your car in HDF mode you could try running LDF and just put smaller tires on the car. The lower CG would make the car handle better and the motor will be faster. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. Thanks

I’m running all Viper Scale Racing V1 V Spec and Pro Custom. Should I try reversing the magnets for my clubs track? Could this improve my lap times? Rocky

Rocky please see my reply to your other question. 99% of the time HDF will be better but in some cases LDF will be better. Its very simple to try.
