Hoarders house can be an absolute death trap. Worst one I ever dealt with was in Astley Bridge in Bolton UK. The house was filled with newspapers and magazines floor to ceiling with narrow passageways to move about and only room for one bed, a table, a chair and a cooker. It was a sight I never wished to see again but I was to be bitterly disappointed many times after. It is truly amazing what people will hoard even human excreta 🤢. We had one guy fill every container he could find with it, even his bath.

Awesome job fire fighters. I personally have a couple fire fighter friends and they tell me that thise types of fires are a fire fighter worse night mare. Im glad to hear theree weren't any fatalities except roaches, bedbugs, rats and any other little unwanted creature s. Stay safe.

Poor hose line management....flow stop flow stop.. amazing how fire goes out when water is applied 🤦♂️
@InfvmousOneКүн бұрын
@@nicholasdoura4371 hahaha have you ever flowed water for an extended period of time? Do you understand that no matter how strong or in shape you are you can still get tired? Did you take into account that we might’ve been training before this? It’s easy to talk when you’re the one watching and not doing.

That's because he was first to the fire and kept sticking his head in. Late 1970;s when I was a volunteer there(HVFD), my captain was the same way. Little you can do with a hoarder house.

I live in suburban Dallas Tx. Our city would not allow all that stuff to be piled everywhere in the yard. Also i would bet the neighbors really like all the stuff running out of there to their house. Such a shame for people to have that.

Got a few questions for you as a little city firemen in Tennessee. How often you catching jobs in Houston? How long have you been a back step firemen? and how many fires have you been to in the time you've been there? I def want more of what you're doing. Not alot happening in my 3 years as a firemen.

@@gregoryendsley497 depends on the district tbh. Each district has its time where it burns! I’ve had a good 20-30 but including car fires it’ll be more than that. I’ve been in 3 years now. Look into a bigger city! Houston has a sign on bonus and lateral transfers right now!

Any big city usually has its good areas. Memphis is the same state and burns all the time. As we see houston gets down too.

See, this is what happens when people hoard all that crap. It does no good for anyone. Puts the fire fighters in extreme danger. If I was a fire captain, I wouldn’t send one of my people anywhere near it and not put one drop of water on it. Let it burn to the ground and say good riddance. Further, the homeowners should be fined thousands of dollars for allowing this kind of mess. I don’t have any sympathy for anyone that does this.
