Way to go... you reached the finish line in the kitchen! You saved the best transformation for last because you were able to throw out so much. I like the idea of a final walkthrough but you could also just do a compilation video of all the before and after footage you already have. I hope you'll tackle the garage again when it's cool enough there.

That was an awesome and epic unearthing of fascinating stuff. I just wish it could have been longer LOL. The photos in the cabinet were so funny and cute. I laughed when you said "of course we are going to keep MY picture". I see now why mom did not want to deal with those cabinets too. I am glad that you took care of it all for her and the rest of the family. I hope your dad will soon surprise Mom with the announcement of new kitchen coming soon. In the meantime, the decluttering that you did helps so much. I definitely would like to see an update on the garage. Thanks for bringing us along.

Finished watching the garage and kitchen. You have a calming voice and energy which has helped your family do all this decluttering . Letting go is hard when one looks at all the money spent and wasted purchased items that haven't been used. I hope your dad is able to clear up his items from the garage. Clutter = Stress your parents are lucky to have you help them Looking forward to more garage clearing and hopefully mom gets her new kitchen with less cabinets

Wow! You finally finished! It looks so much better. I wonder if taking out the drawer and putting it back in might fix it. Also, if it's really broken, I would actually just take the drawer out entirely, disassemble it, and glue the front of the drawer back in its place, so it's more of a false drawer, like the ones that are always in front of the kitchen sink. It would not be missed! One of my fronts broke off recently and E6000 worked well to put it back on. I used painter's tape to hold it in place while it dried. I know it's been months since you started the kitchen, I would love a final walkthrough of how it looks entirely (and how it's been maintained!)

Great job! Everyone is recommending great products to fix, clean, and organize, to which I’d like to add: get a stain stick. If you can match the color of your parents cabinets, they help hide so many scratches. It’s like coloring with a marker.

That kitchen must be so much more functional now. Good job! Did you say your parents are planning to remodel the kitchen? If so, I'd say in the meantime, take the front off that broken drawer and glue/screw it to the cabinet frame. That way it won't stick out or interfere with the shelf below it. Seems like your parents weren't really using it. Of course, fixing the drawer would be an even better solution, but that may not be worth the time if the kitchen is going to be redone.

Can't believe you're on the last section, seems there should be a few more to go. You're a very brave girl going into the dark unknown contents in the cave cabinet. I like how you share the messy contents and try not to tidy stuff up 1st. Many have cabinets like this and maybe this will help them to tackle theirs. Suggestion - I have plastic dish pans from the Dollar Tree under my sink for cleaning supplies, inexpensive and if anything leaks it's contained in the pan. Another thing I did, put a shelf on both sides in the cabinet under the sink. Have plastic baskets from the Dollar Tree on them, holds extra sponges, cleaning clothes, etc. Just spending $10.00 on bins from the DT would really help to organize the cupboards. Maybe just $10.00 a month every few months till it's all organized. Many of the bins for drawers come in 2/1.00 & 3/1.00. Maybe you could do an Organize the Kitchen Series, now that you have it all sorted out. I love these kinds of videos. You did a really great job, I'm sure you're mom is very thankful. Nicely done!

This was an awesome one! Although it would be rad to make some changes in the garage- with how resistant your dad is I think a great place to work on next would be bathroom cabinets/linen closets! With how much that was hidden in this kitchen, I'd bet those other places would harbor a treasure trove of stuff to go through (plus your mom seems to be really appreciative!)

maybe you can just attach a piece of wood at the backwall of that cabinet right underneath where the drawer would end so it can sit on it when fully pushed in. Would still be wobbly pushing in and out but at least sit right when fully closed. Hard to tell from the video how much space there is from the backwall to the drawer end so it might be too far away for that though.
