The religious pictures you found around 9:55 are icona from the Orthodox Christian Church (probably Greek, but they may be Russian...you have to look at the lettering). The reason they look a little strange is because of the commandment "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image". Orthodox still wanted something to remind them of the Deity and Saints, so they purposely painted images so they wouldn't look "real". I collect icons, especially ones with sterling silver and gemstones.

The hats are quite stylish for the right lady. She obviously co-ordinated her hat colour, scarves, gloves and purses and packed them together in colour with cardboard inserts which are now squashed. She is a very organised lady who packed everything together in totes and bags so far like Christmas, St Patrick’s Day etc. She also looks like she was tracing her Irish heritage and her surname judging by the items you were pulling out. The religious items are worth money to the right buyer, the Christmas ornaments in the boxes are highly collectable and should be auctioned in lots. I’m sure there are some more valuable items as you dig further into this unit.
