What about to rotate the black kallax unit horizontally and get rid of the TV Stand? So the unit is unter the Window. I think the cords an the other stuff would fit in the kallax unit too. :) Greetings from Germany, you do a great Job there! ☆

I'm sure all of your hard work and seeing how good you feel after a declutter, is what inspired him to declutter his own space! Just like how his brother now also wants a clean space of his own 😊 Kids don't do what we say, they do as we do, and you making such an effort and amazing progress, must be so very inspiring for your kids. I'm so impressed by you, your mentality and hard work working with your hoarding disorder and not against it. I've learnt a lot from you, listening to how considerate you are of your own thoughts and needs, and how you use them to move forward 🌸

Your kids are such troopers. Anytime they participate in your vids I'm like wow. Tell your kids we say well done! Back when I was little anytime my ma would even suggest that my brothers and I consider letting go of some stuff we just always replied "Ugh, no way mom how could you even think that!!" 😅 Needless to say, two of us are low level hoarders now in young adulthood. But your kids are going to be so great at this in the future because they already seem so open to the idea 😊

Miss Heart! Your videos are the ones I look forward to the most!! I've been here since before you felt comfortable showing your face, and I have been honored to witness your strength and kindness magnify the past two years. Your videos are incredibly therapeutic to me. I have a mother who struggles with hoarding disorder and letting things go. She is also the BEST Mom because she is so loving and giving. Throughout my life, I have grown to understand her sentimental and emotional attachment to things was related to depression and anxiety. I would do anything to heal or lessen the hurt she feels but I know she has to make those steps into recovery for herself. I really think you both would be friends if you lived in the same area. You're both always collecting donations for the women's shelters and the schools, which warms my heart. You really are humanizing hoarding disorder one video at a time. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I just watched you on Dawn the Minimalist Mom, thank you for being so open and helpful. My grown daughter struggles with letting go. After listening to you I really see her heart for the first time. It’s been hard to understand at times, I tend to think , well I didn’t raise her to be this way so I just didn’t get it. I’ve tried to help but I see I go at it wrong, I’m prone to just take over and that doesn’t help. We never “ talk” about it or how she feels. I know I have embarrassed her not meaning too. It’s wonderful to see your journey and how your coping, thank you again for sharing, you opened my eyes.

It was such a great way to start my break and really clean my room so I could enjoy my time there. Wish I’d kept it up, but I know I can do it now. My mindset then was that I’d outgrown it. I think you are an awesome mom. It is so hard to fight psychological illness/ problems. And you face it and try to change. And I love that you keep it all realistic and shows it is a long lasting process which can involve fallbacks. People often don’t understand how hard mental illnesses can be, they think you choose it and can stop and are just to lazy to stop. But honestly mental illness is worse than anything else, there is no surgery which can heel you, even medication often just cover the symptoms. It is so hard when you are trapped in yourself and can’t go out, if everyday tasks become a real struggle. Every day every minute. It’s exhausting. You don’t even wish your worst enemy to suffer from any mental illness.

Also more of the cube shelf would be easily accesible and there would be more air around the desk. If he would like to, later, it would be possible to have a bigger desk in that corner.

the boys have done amazing. I am so proud of you. I love how you know yourself - you can handle small sections. I can't handle baby items, I will put them in a bin until I'm ready. I helped my grandma move from a 2 bedroom townhouse to basically a dorm room at a retirement place. She couldn't get rid of all her books at one time. but each time she went through them she got rid of more until she was down to a manageable amount. Same thing with clothes and crafts. So let go of what you can, then when you go through it again later you will get rid of more. You're doing great. letting go of anything is great, we just have to keep going back through until we get it down to a good level. I have been trying to watch the old videos from when you started. I like seeing how far you've come - from fuzzing out your reflection on spoons to in front of the camera. But they are hard to find the series. other people have playlists of each room: playroom, playroom to bedroom, laundry room etc. I don't know how hard it is to set up that way, but that would be nice for people who are watching the old things.
