HOARDERS left a TOTAL DISASTER of a mess in this front yard. We have a huge pile of trash, garbage and debris to clean up. It's SO BIG I had to bring the excavator out to pick it all up and get it into the dumpster. We also had to get the DISGUSTING refrigerator out of the house and put into the dumpster, it had rotten food left in it. The smell was AWFUL! This was a very satisfying and fulfilling cleanup!

It looks like the people who do not take care of their stuff. They always have to replace things and whine because they never have any money. My mom had a saying, it's not how much you make, it's what you do with what you make. Some drink it, some smoke it, some shoot it up. So sad.

I feel your pain. My brother and I cleaned out my folks house after they died, my sister is a hoarder and lived there too, so 6 months and 7 dumpsters later, we were able to sell the house. Wish we had the type of machines you have, we did it all by hand, and we're both retired. Did hire some people at the end to fill the dumpsters. We couldnt do that ourselves. You guys did great work.

I worked for a trash company in north Carolina and I seen way too much of this type of stuff, I even had to take a clean up crew to a guy that had worked for us to his house and a rear load garbage truck over a period of two months to get his property cleaned up, he had been collecting stuff for years before the county caught up with him because they put in a new dog pound next door and fined him for the mess, as we were trying to get stuff cleaned up the guy kept pulling stuff out of the garbage truck and trying to hide it and complaining quite vocally that we were throwing his stuff away, during one of the weekly pick ups, he got caught driving drunk and no license lol, we finally got our job done then, All totaled, 35 cubic yards of trash was removed from his property

I hear ya! A relative rented a house to a young woman with 2 children. I had moved out of this house so I know it was in good condition. The "Boyfriend" moved in with 2 untrained pit bulls that terrorized the neighbors whenever they went outside. When they moved out, the dogs had eaten the gasket around the refrigerator so the door wouldn't close. This resulted in the fridge overheating and the compressor failing. The stove had food caked on it; even the ceiling had grease congealed on it. There was food in the floor registers. Carpet ripped up, holes in walls, ceiling fans almost torn out of the ceiling. The drain in the bathtub somehow came loose so waste water drained into the crawl space. I cleaned the house, had someone do the repairs I couldn't do and I painted. This relative wanted to leave me one of her rentals. I told her not on your life!

We could look at a way to resolve this as a community effort where someone could get some free rent and transition from houseless to having a stable environment for coming back to their life. Of course there are many other factors to include, perhaps we could start to talk with our neighbors on how to construct a community care strategy - even prevent this type of jam.

My friend had a rental house that was very nice. Some lady told him there was a couple with 4 kids who desperately needed to find a place but there were on section 8. They sent him the forms, he kindly mailed them back. They inspected and approved the clients. He charged $600 a month, at that time. Two years later he had to evict her. Was she screaming mad . They left and he called me to go over and inspect the house. He had before pictures to compare. He just about cried when he saw the house. When you opened the door there were hundreds of roaches. That was disgusting. I ran home and got a really old shop vac that I was going to ditch. We used it to go along and suck as many as we could as we toured the house. Dog crap was all over the floors in every room. In the back, the garage had 7 broke washers and dryers. Long story short, a lady came and looked at the house and took pictures. She told him to itemize everything he did. It was over $2,200 at that time. Out of the $600 rent she paid by section 8, she only had to pay $100 of it. The gov't contacted her and told them he put in a claim for damages and in her new home, her rent went up from $100 to 400 a month. $300 a month going to my pal until the $2,200 was paid off ( I talk a lot sorry). So we were throwing away stuff in the garage and I saw unopened mail in her name... let's say : Jane Doe, Jane Public, Jan Venus, Jane Pepsi... I found 7 letters from 7 welfare offices in 7 different counties. WOW, she was a scammer. I called the local welfare office and they kinda didn't want to believe me. I told them that since the mail was abandoned, some of it was opened and all those 7 names came to that address. A few days later, a man in a suit came by the rental and asked if he could have the letters. Turns out they pulled those names and wanted the letters as evidence and he had a warrant for her arrest. haha. Her entire family was kicked off section 8 and food stamps for fraud. I see renters trashing properties and what are landlords going to do? I would love to rent homes because it is good income. but the last house I rented cost me about $1,200 to fix their damages and back rent and then I put $20 k more in it and sold it. I love watching this channel.

@@joshuaguenin9507 dude yes there is. In some smaller or RV units there may not be, but the larger home size ones that’s all they use.

In my city you just leave the metal items (fridge and grill) at the curb and the scrappers will get it within a day or two. Then your dumpster is less full.

A landlord that is truly that pissed wouldn't have allowed this to continue to this point. This is ridiculous.

I didn't think you could just chunk propane tanks away like that. I feel for the poor sap. But that landlord got what they deserve by not investigating or checking on prospects renters before allowing them to rent. I had no problems at all telling where i came from and providing said document's to prove. Job and neighbor references to back it up. I have several renters. I went to and checked on. I make it a point to make visiual checkups on said properties myself at least 6 times per year. That is inside and out.

periodic inspections are allowed, but you must be careful not to bother tenants. they have rights to enjoy the property they pay for, you know.
