Hoarding in videogames. How bad is it?

The most hoarding I've ever done in a video game is definitely Ancient Domains Of Mystery (ADOM)! Playing as a magical class and casting Strength Of Atlas lets you carrying an incredible amount of luggage with you, so much so that if the spell wears off while fully loaded you can actually crush yourself to death under the weight. Page after page after page of inventory items! And still it's not enough, I have stashes in the dungeons for even more mountains of stuff!

That Smaug bit.... Oh, that's why skyrim is so popular to this day. Dragonborn is a dragon soul in human body, so it makes perfect sense that DB will hoard treasure. And gamers also like hoarding. It's a perfect match on any level. Which makes me want to play skyrim again. I'll wait until all the beyond skyrim provinces get released.
