It’s 88 and feels like 93 here in North Carolina. I grew up in Bloomington, Illinois, then remarried 8 years after being widowed and moved here in ‘18. The winters are much shorter and milder. Snows usually melt in the same day. For 10 months of the year, something is flowering-plants, trees, bushes, or vines. In late winter they plant pansies. Thank you for the idea of combining 2 Cotton King skeins together!

Love the yarn always do! It’s in the 70’s here in Tumwater Washington supposed to rain tmrw. I’m praying it does. Crystal did you know Hobbii has a weekly Bingo game on Sunday morning at 11am PT. So 1PM in Illinois! It’s free and you can win yarn which you can donate, but the great part is they have sales that are just for the players and they are really great sales. I love love Hobbii and watching their Bingo game Sundays! It is a lot of fun...I crochet while the game plays itself and different people host and run the game showing off the yarns and prizes. You earn points if you log in to play before the 1st game ends (if you miss the 1st card). It is awesome, like you. You also get a link to super deals on certain yarns they give away as prizes to the card winners at the end. I often have to keep my eyes closed but always look at everything. If I buy stuff every week...well, I'm sure I'd be getting a divorce. 🤣 😂

It's been triple digits here in central California forever..... without the rain...we NEED rain!!! I love hobbii, very nice yarns. I use their standard shipping & I have my order in 3-5 days. I need more sultan cakes in my life.

In Texas it is still over a hundred and no rain. We are melting here even with a/c. Like the yarn. I like Hobbii yarn. Love the cotton and the small Egyptian cotton and put two together plus one strand of the one with the silver. The ballet pink with the pink and the white with sparkle is so pretty! I'm in southern NY - about 25 miles north of midtown Manhattan. It's 92 with high humidity. The humidity makes it feel hotter than it is. Beautiful yarn haul! I learn so much when I watch. you.

Here in Tennessee we have had rain, rain and more rain, but today it's sunny and I have been mowing while I can. I just stopped to cool off for a few minutes and pulled up the weather and it said 90 degrees but feels like 96. I believe it but it is supposed to rain again tomorrow. Beautiful yarns,love the purple. Happy yarning!!

Your so funny! As soon as you say you swore off mystery buys I laughed because I knew you couldn't resist. I can't resist sales too! It has been between 80-100 for weeks with very little rain. I live in Wisconsin now, I came from Oklahoma 7 years ago. Everyone complains about how hot it is and humid. I laugh, it’s so much hotter in Oklahoma, feels tropical. We have turned our air off in the evening several times lately.

Hi Crystal! We've been in the nineties weather wise. I don't like the heat at all, but I can stay inside in the air conditioning. I don't mind the cold, but I'm not a fan of snow. Beautiful yarn collection. It is sunny and hot here in Alaska, yes you read it right, it is hot here in Alaska it has been in the high 70's, depending on where you are at. You might not think it's hot but people must realize our climate is much different than the lower 48. For example, there is about a 20 degree differential between us and the lower 48. Therefore, what is 70 to us is like 90 to the lower 48. I have been wearing shorts and tanks all summer.
