Very nice, Tim! Makes me want to start mine. Just got to finish my current build. You are right, Four MK108's firing up your clacker will ruin your day, everyday.

Ta David. Get it started and done mate. It’s not like it’s an expensive kit or difficult to get hold of.... smash it out!
@RaduB.3 жыл бұрын
Hi! It came out quite nice! Realistic I'd say... They hadn't got the chance to get that weathered. By the way, I've always used paper to mask the german camouflage. 🙂
@TimsScaleModelling3 жыл бұрын
Hi Radu, first time using paper not the last either... Easier than British camo I think 😮 Thank you for commenting mate 👍👍🎄🎄

Brilliant job, Tim.....no criticism from me.....just lots of praise!! A very enjoyable 3-parter and an excellent result. I find your videos easy to watch and the commentary a bonus with lots of information pertaining to the process, the model and a little historical data. All the very best for the festive season and to a brighter 2021.

Very nice build, I'm thinking if this is Nowotny's plane it must have seen combat, he was killed flying an Me 262.
@BAGHEAD19953 жыл бұрын
No this isn’t Nowotny’s plane (Weiss 8) . The subject was f this build was found by U.S forces at the end of the war.

Nice 262 👍 What kind of glue do you use for the thread and what thread do you use?

That would have been Uschi fine thread Dennis and just CA to fix. Thanks for watching

Hello Tim. Just found your channel from my KZbin recommended feed and just subscribed. Great content and awesome build on the ME-262. I have a 1/48 scale ME-262 kit that was gifted to me recently and I think I am going to build mine as a Captured American 262. I am going to put some of your videos into my watch later que for when I have a little more time. Happy New Year!!

Hey Dave... yeah can stand using it.. that is simply some copper wire taped to a wooden stick... hi tech stuff mate 🤪

This was a really nice build. I am planning to do one myself. I am thinking of trying out pigments and was interested to see what you achieved with the European earth colour. I noticed you didn't seem to use pigment fixer. Does that mean the pigment is always at risk of rubbing off, or does it tend to stick of its own accord? Great work. Keep it up.
@TimsScaleModelling9 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. Yes to your question, the pigment will come off over time if not fixed, especially if your handling regularly (going to shows etc). My stuff tends to just get boxed up and stored. Having said that, id only ever use a small amount, it would be difficult if I was an armour builder though.

Hi Ken.. I think I finished it off with MRP Semi-Matt lacquer. Thank for the kind comment mate. One of my favourite builds.
