I was just at one of my 4 HLs Monday and there as no clearance yarn, just a few embroidery and sewing things. Usually there are a few skeins over in the clearance section after they sell out of most of the clearance. I didn’t see ANY empty spots. So maybe they just did notions and stuff so far. I usually spend a few hundred dollars every year on clearance yarn. And I go to all 4 stores. I know where I’m going when I get up. 😂

My HL now has their clearance going and let me tell you how extremely little is going out. At most nine yarn lines have clearance. Some are the whole line, some just pieces. I got most of what I wanted and spent eighteen dollars.

Hobbii is based on Denmark and only sells online to the US. Their regular prices can be quite high, but if you watch they often have very good sales on different yarns. Also, they just dropped their minimum shipping fee to $5, from $10, and you get free shipping if your order is over $100. If you are asking about the store Ginger visited in this video, it is Hobby Lobby, a completely different company. They are an American craft store, and they also sell online. I hope this helps, as I wasn't sure of the exact question (Hobbii vs Hobby Lobby). Have a great day. 🐞

Unfortunately my hobby lobby is changing into made in china junk marker now selling carpets, kitchen utensils shower curtain and everything else slowly eliminating yarn and craft departments. I don’t even go there anymore because it is a waste of time

Hobby Lobby only sells cheap acrylic yarn. You should try yarn made from natural fibers like cotton, wool, silk. Acrylic is only good for making kids stuff toys and wash cloths.

Oh brother there are 2 words I love that is SALE & CLEARANCE! Hobby Lobby is only 15 min away but my lease is ending and I need to move ASAP! Saw a very nice place on Fri but it was to far and I was ‘t liking the area. Canceled one for tomorrow- read the reviews and someone said they had bats in there apt- forget that. Scheduled to see another for tomorrow all newly renovated not far so I’m hopping? Once I find a place and move then it will be time to come out of retirement 😢. Very difficult to live on social security. How is your organizing of your yarn coming? Your hubby was so nice loading his truck and helping you. If I was still married mine would most definitely not help but complain about all the yarn I had/have lol. He did that when I had ( still have a lot) of my card making supplies. Oh well. Thanks for taking us along on your journey but can’t believe you didn’t buy anything 😂. ❤gayle
