Hi everyone
Today we are going to be unboxing the Absima CR-18 Pro Evo Trail Hunter Unimog Rc crawler!
Or is it a Hobby Plus Cr-18 Pro Evo?
We will be having a good general look at the vehicle to see what we get on this awesome platform, we will also be checking out all the detail on the body, and of course taking it out and testing it on my my backyard course!
In my opinion hobby, plus has definitely brought more innovation to the hobby than any other brand this year in the micro crawler department.
And at a very affordable price!
If you had to ask me what micro crawler should I get to start? I would definitely say pick up a Hobby Plus CR-18P Evo!

In my opinion it is the best and most innovative RC from last year! I have been going out with my son every single day crawling and he has been taking different trucks! The one he likes the most is the CR-18PRO Evo, kids never like going slow and at least with the two speed transmission it's up to him! Your daughter Mia is going to love it bro. 💯❤️💯

That's one killer backyard course for minis! I'm curious what the wheelbase is, and what's the white 1:1 SUV with the rear mounted spare.

Thank you so much 🤜🤛 Got to try and finish it this year! The wheelbase on the Unimog is 16cm from wheel nut to wheel nut! And 12cm wide. And the SUV is a Mitsubishi Pajero MK1 1986 long wheel base, my good old trusty 4X4 😁 I hope you have an awesome Christmas Eve and an amazing Xmas 🎁🎄⛄🎅

Got me a SCX24 Gladiator, a TRX4M Bronco, a TRX4M Chevy K10 High Trail, & a partridge in a pear tree. Lol 😅 With 3 mini RCs, I'm good.....for now. Lol This looks good though, will admit, I kinda wanna build me a TRX4M buggy rig next year though, something I'm looking into. 🤔🤨

What does the motor upgrade really do? I am not in the hobby, but considering this one now as got offer for this V2 version for 129€. So if later on I like to continue and advance in the hobby, what I benefit from the motor upgrades? The V1 version is for discount for 96 € There seems to be a metal gears upgrade for the V1 for 13 € price, but not sure without asking the store, as they have added it to product add-on upgrade page.

I don't quite understand what do you mean by the motor upgraded! If you are talking about the difference between the pro and the pro Evo! There is a huge difference, the pro Evo has metal gears throughout and it also has a two-speed transmission, which I can guarantee you is a awesome setup so you can crawl slow but at the same time you can hit high gear and take on any Trail. If you're talking about upgrading the motor there are huge advantages as the stock motors are inexpensive and if you invest into a better motor it has way more torque and speed depending on what you choose. I hope that helps if I didn't get it right let me know ✌️😉

Yeah it's crazy! you can't keep up-to-date nowadays with the RC Crawlers 😅🤣 Doing this makes it better to clean possible for companies to make upgrades for the rigs as they keep changing.
