The CR18P EVO is the newest iteration of the popular CR18 platform. Building on from the original CR18P chassis, which featured metal portal axles, a 45-degree steering angle, and a buttery smooth ESC, the EVO adds 2-speeds, metal gears in the transmission, a larger 130 100T motor, and a much-improved weight bias, leading to an all-round superior crawler.

Yes I have the rock van the silver and orange looks awesome I put the extra lights on, also have inner fender wells that you could get for it they are super cool it holds the sides of the bottom of the body

That’d be a long run to the rear. Someone will do it though.

I guess it is more likely that it can be used to decrease (eliminate) the torque twist. But for this you need a different axle.

Thanks Quinn. Great to see the inside of some of these. Would be great to see the inside of the T-Hunter. Its understandable taking off all those screws, but its layout is very different than the other two and it would be great to compare and contrast. Thanks for the unboxing.

Ya, had my hands full trying get thru all three. I’ll have to do one in the T-Hunter servo layout. Seems much better in terms of weigh distribution, but also reverses shift switch on receiver. Not sure why they didn’t do the others the same way.

just got a rock van EVO an stock out of the box it allready climbs better than my heavily modded FMS power wagon!

brass bushings instead of bearings tho... an mines deffo getting longer droop dampers as soon as I can.Another thing I wanna try is the FTX (the UK version of this) wheels on the FMS. Your not wrong about the tyre squeal!! Which makes me think they may be a better compound? OH! and, Injora wheels wont fit, I allready tried. Maybe they will with spacers as the smaller wheels hit the portals :(

I think the T-Hunter will get some more love in Europe as the Mercedes Unimog is more recognizable for them than the Rock Van or Harvester.

This video just came on today even though it's an older one soon as you open that box on that orange one my goodness it is orange LOL totally dig it. Also I got to say ever since the rock van came out I've been in love with that thing that is something that FMS should make that their flagship it is such a unique look and they really honestly brought the van back it wasn't until the rock band came out that I noticed a upswing and van bodies they originated that van as far as I'm concerned

Yes, they all go the same speed! The EVO version of the Rock Van can go at walking pace when it's in fast gear.

Yes. All three EVO models have interchangeable parts, except for the body, bumpers, and shift servo mounting points.

According to Fair rc they are not interchangeable. I asked you at the same time about this lol and they just replied

@@vhrte49 I saw that, LOL. They might have been thinking you were asking about the CR18P and the CR18P EVO. The chassis, transmission, axles, steering hubs, servos, are the same between the 3 EVO models in this video. I believe the rock van has shorter shocks, but people run the same aftermarket shocks. Converting a Rock Van to a T-Hunter would be a pain because the way the body and shift servo mount is very different.

Need more van crawlers! Turn signals should always be able to be turned off while using only headlights. They could just save money and not include them at all, I don't know of anyone that likes them.
