Always stopped in Neely's when I was in the Altoona area. Just wish they were closer for me. Always got great deals on S gauge items.

This is Neely's new location, over 6,000 square feet of trains. He's had a couple other shops around Altoona over the past few years. Second generation Lionel repair shop, lots of postwar Lionel. Always buying collections, you never know what you will find! This is my local hobby shop. He has an eBay store and many tables at TCA York as well.

I've been there several times myself, "The Train Station!" I just love the "Grandpa's basement" ambiance of the place! Lots of good stuff in there!

@@ChrissTrainsandThings There's an old rule I learned when shooting movies, 8mm and 16mm: "If you think you're panning slowly, do it even MORE slowly." Worked for me.

Another nice ‘hop’ Chris, thanks for bringing us along. Nice to see at least a little bit of American Flyer. Getting more and more scarce in so many hobby shops. Otherwise it looks like quite a good selection of Lionel, MTH and Atlas. Thanks again!

I purchased my refurb postwar ZW from him when I was just getting started and it has been rock solid. A very fair price and a solid 2 year guarantee. He was very helpful with a newbie when I was in the Pitt area in June 2023 with my adult daughters. He has a nice personal collection of train items and is also a Disney fan with some great items too. Definitely a place I would always stop in every time I might be in the area.
