Trains always know when to act up . Same thing happened to me at Christmas . 3 sets running for a few days before with 3 different layouts without problems . Friends come over for dinner and see the trains and all 3 decide to act up with 3 different problems .

I love the "I'd Rather Be Running my Lionel Trains" license plate, and that's what I should always do because Lionel O-Gauge is way better than Bachmann HO.

It isn't just the quality of the buildings, it's also the incredible interior detail.

In general do I find the 3 rail O gauge something for kids to play with, but this is mindblowing

Glad you had a successful tour. As a fellow educator I had to laugh at the engines " going on strike " and not working. We can prep the kids all week., are sure they know what they are doing and then at open house, BAM it's as if they never heard the stuff LOL LOL We just take it in stride and go on.

Congratulations on a very successful layout tour for the TCA Convention! It is inevitable for something to 'act up' at the most inopportune time. I'm sure you handled you with the utmost poise and grace. And, of course, your audience was probably extremely forgiving as well!! Wish I could have been there but it wasn't in the cards this time!! Keep up the great work and representation of our hobby!!

This whole week was an awesome experience , Im so glad our club was able to be there for one of its members and help you out in the biggest event . Just seeing the busses in the cul-de-sac at your house was once in a lifetime experience . Congrats on the huge success of the tours , it was a lot of work and a ton of planning and I'm glad it all worked out . OK what's next 😂

You know as well as anyone else, that when you go to show it off, that is when everything is likely to go wrong, you can test everything out for weeks ahead of time, but when showtime comes, Murphy's Law always takes effect!

Raritan Valley Hi-Railers layout looked spectacular. I'm sure all the folks that visited were grateful for your generosity in sharing your layout and expertise.

Magnificant Modeling and weathering. You tend to forget it's third rail and tend to watch it as if it were prototype in the 1940's because the layout is so well detailed.

Chris - New lighting on the layout is great, it makes such a difference in the videos. Really enjoyed video, would like to see more of the PC E8. Please remove the faux air hose from the 2rail coupler. You have done such an amazing job making the unit more realistic and that just jumps out. Hope all is well and Summer is great. Jim P.

You know, I just ordered a Lionel ES44AC and Pre-Ordered an XT44. I love the ATLAS detail, but not having a FIXED PILOT is the Killer for me. ATLAS needs to start incorporating REALISTIC FIXED PILOTS!! My ES and ET have fixed Kinematic pilots along with my Mighty EMD E5 and SW-8. I cant STAND that SPLIT on the curves! 😖

Correction the Lima built Pierre Markette 2-8-4 berkshire 1225 was the model they used for the polar express, it along with Nickel Plate 759 & 765, C&O 2716, 2760, and others, all built by lima to the Van Serwegen Design.

They are extremely lucky that they did not punch through the flew sheet and have a boiler explosion .
