Hobby Update - "Lessons Learned from Painting Epic Miniatures"

Today a Hobby Update for the 38th week, 2023. I've finally been painting miniatures again since the summer and have already made the first 'mistakes'.
Not really bad things, but completely unnecessary things.

Thanks for the vid! I will try this, when I tackle the epic pike&shot minis. What would you suggest for a quick method for the pikemen? Paint in normal colors and not slapchop?

@@sooutofhere First of all, any technique is good if YOU like the result. I mainly use "slapchop" followed by normal painting to let the first rank shine. Don't waste time with the second rank. The P&S Epics have a lot of details. Hard for me to ignore. An Epic ACW unit needs half the time to paint for me. Ah.. and Nuln Oil is Your friend, especially with Epics. 😉
