I would much rather have more base cards than all these endless inserts. Just makes it that much more difficult to complete the 90 card base set. Pretty damn annoying. However the base cards do look really cool.

Note: 2017 fleer spiderman boxes are 3k 2018 fleer xmen boxes are 2k Note lower print run, no blasters, and metal pmgs Though avengers seems to be more fun and way more affordable

Aside from the price difference, I think it comes down to what matters most for a collector. Blasters are a great way to aim for the base 90 + base insert sets including blaster exclusive insert/parallel. Hobby boxes are great if you want to aim for some of rarer #'d parallels and autos.

To me they looked very meh photo wise but when i saw the videos on these i was like well damn im in. Been missing out on these releases since i stopped in the 90’s and love the thrill of opening these packets. Got my first sets in the mail today and im very impressed.
