Hey. I just got one of theese beauties as my firsth plane :) its ready for maiden, but we got a bit too much wind for 2xmaiden. Beet watching alot of the videos on the tube last days, and I came across two dudes mounting Slats from Timber plane on the CC.. They say its uncontrollable without the slats, and that makes me think.. What will a experienced CC pilot say about the slats on it? Now Im going straight to my CC to put some zipties on it 👍 thanks 🎉

Leading edge slats are meant to slow you down and give you more control at slower speeds. The Vortex generators already on the wings do the same thing. I would not add the slats and interrupt the already good control the vortex generators provide. The plane is very stable and should handle 10 to 15 mph wind without issue. If the plane is being rocked around that violently then you should not be flying anyway.

Ur missing out big time! 4s/2200, 10x8 to 11x5.5 propeller. 7+ minutes air time, double the performance! (Buddy got tired of his, & let me fly it. So I tried a bunch of stuff. 4s & 11x6 are too much & motor/esc get warm.) I tried flaps🤷‍♂️. Ended up converting flaps to full span ailerons. U gotta try it! At least once!

Not! They creat a more linear air flow over the top of the wing to give a more even lift.

Third flight mine took off never to be found they won't even acknowledge my emails or phone calls what a disappointment also had to make repairs on the build on the tail wheel and two of the servos were not glued in $500 disappointment

From Horizon Hobby or HobbyZone? I am really shocked by either of these. I have had great CS with both with problematic planes. Sorry to hear that.

Thanks, every time I post a new video I get at least one or two. Pain in the rear. And yes I like the same but I am more than happy with my one "Fast " gal. LOL...yes she will sometimes read my comments..lol
