I recommend caution with the Dino-X. I used it and it caused my hammers to bleach. When I stopped using it they recovered.

Lovely looking tank! Another reason why you got algae on your rocks is because they are white and/or your nutrients were too high. Do you know what your nutrient levels were during this process? (Nitrates and Phosphates)

Did you stop dosing vibrant as part of the eradication control? I ask because you mentioned that overdosing vibrant can lead to it. Thanks

Do those products work for saltwater only? Or would they work for freshwater too?

Cyano in freshwater is blue/green so I don't think anti red would work? I think (but not 100% sure) dino is a salt thing an doesn't happen the same way in freshwater.

Hi, can you tell me how far from the top of you tank is down to the water ? The reason for asking is I was thinking of getting a hang on the side, but my water is about 4inches below the rim of the tank, I currently have a Tunze internal skimmer and to be honest it hardly pulls anything out of my water and my tank sadly has high nitrates, but low phosphates, I too use a canister filter.
