@@trullmann for a foamie?? If it was a decent GFRP or CFRP then I'd agree, but not for a foamie. The production cost for this aircraft is going to be inline with other similar sized foam models. I'd have me a FlyFans L-39... XFly T-7A, FMS Avanti S or Viper Jet as nice complete sports jets. If non-foam and bigger... I'd save up for a Sebart. This seems to wanna occupy the market gap in between those two segments. Interesting move. But not sure that's the thing people wanna see from Hobby King where we're used to low buck - big bang. Hello and thanks for your comments, let’s address them. Pricing wise it’s actually very competitively priced, please take a look at other EDFs at this size and completion point. During extensive testing, we never once had anything suck itself into the fan. You must of course do you due diligence and ensure everything is secure, but that’s a given on a model of this size.

There was so much fun in it, you could get 2 planes, but some motors, moddeling materials and a battery or 2 for under 200 bucks.. Tinker and fly to your hearts content.. Thats what made hobbyking so popular.. Why they went the polar opposite always confused the hell out of me..

Freewing does not make anything like this
@shozzy69Күн бұрын
I understand that it’s not the same size etc but I’m just looking at the value, do you think this is good value for money for a foam jet. I know hsd are in this price bracket but again do you think they are good value for a foam plane.
@airbornjetworkx3317Күн бұрын
@@shozzy69 I think it's a good value for a foam jet in that size. It's scale 1/6.25, have a look at the AF (Aerofoam) T-45 as well and you might find some similarities. It's really a different league and flies very good. That recorded flight was almost seven minutes with 3,65V/cell after landing. You should also know that such big planes are significantly more expensive when it comes to shipping. A composite plane of that class would be much more expensive and the ARF wood jets (e.g. Black Horse L-39) are also in that price range (and not better IMO, i got that L-39 as well). When you're happy with the 80/90mm sized models, stay with these. If you want to go bigger, consider that Hawk.
