The Messerschmitt Bf-109e was the backbone of the Luftwaffe fighter force during world war 2 and one of the most iconic aircraft of the period. It was one of the most advanced fighters of its day and a powerful piece of hardware for the German military war machine. Durafly has accurately reproduced the plane in two stunning schemes. Originally designed by Willy Messerschmitt in the mid-1930s the Germans constructed over 33,000 Bf-109’s between 1939 - 1945 and they were flown in many theatres of operation. The Bf-109e was a fierce adversary for allied fighters such as the Hawker Hurricane and the legendary Supermarine Spitfire. With its lightweight design, retractable landing gear, destructive 20mm cannons, powerful Daimler-Benz liquid-cooled fuel-injected inverted V12 the Bf-109e would have made the Luftwaffe pilot feel nearly invincible.

Beautiful, beautiful video and this Durafly BF 109E is just great. We have just posted the unboxing of this baby and just taking the plane from the box is just awesome experience. I must say that this is one of the most scale looking ME BF 109E ever in foam version. And once you are in the air with this baby its like flying a trainer. And soo good looking at low flybys. I just watched a documentary about German tanks in WW2 *Yesterday* :) nice video & the plane looks good HK! Ohw.. I didn't even realise the video was narrated in German at first :P I'm sure lots of people will be happy to see a new warbird come available :)

It's not for total beginner pilot, but if you would like to decrease the difficulty, you can self install a 3-axis gyroscope (work kind of like a co-pilot system). Good luck and it's nice Model, I love German Aircraft in the past. I owned and flied a focke wulf 190 when I was a uni student.

Chaos Yoshi the best: Well, the guy speaking is clearly not a german, you'd find better german speaking people at HK NL, I suppose. If it was for authenticity. Technically, the ME 109 was one of the best WWII fighters, no secret. I absolutely loved the film the music is taken from, as a kid... yet, added all together it has a strange taste to it. My opinion. They've got this visual effects guy who probably could've done something neat focussing more on the model, giving some more detail regarding the HOBBY in the KING ;-) if I wanna see b/w flicks of Luftwaffe vs. RAF, there's tons around here.
