Yes this combo is solid, love everything about it but, the only downside is the amount of weight it adds to the truck (my xmaxx) if you like to send your truck off big ramps and abuse your truck I would recommend getting maybe the smaller 1100kv motor. Even then that motor is still heavy. I’m getting ready to replace this System with the new castle creations MMX8s esc and the new 1260kv motor which is way smaller and lighter. It’s the same size as the stock 8s motor but it packs a little more power.

you also have to take in consideration that the castle 2028 motor is a old it came out in 2016 and castle hasent released and new 5th scale motors since that releases
