Hi Dave, appreciate the video. Quick question. I'm noticing my bailout doesn't respond, it's seems to reset to slow startup after flipping to AR and back to run again. How do I alter the bailout timing?
@Pedro-Lopes. Жыл бұрын
Nice, I already done it on the first day released. But stay on the new default timming 25. And no diferences, on the temperatures neither rpms using same governor output. After many flights on my hobbywing 120a, i noticed improvement on the response without decrease the flight time that already have when using the 15 timming on the previous firmware. So I will stay on the 25 has day day as default. Speak with some factory pilots and yes, they advise to keep on this new timming value 👍

Thanks for your comments Pedro.

Yes, the Hobbywing factory has recommended this setting because of the protocol with Vbar so the default setting of 25 will give you better performance.

Thanks Dave, I have this set up in a TB70, 200A HW4.1- VControl classic. Question about the start up time, seems very hit and miss on my setup, upon first power up I sometimes get the nice soft start for the default 10 seconds but after that its about 5 or 6 seconds from spool to target HS which is unsettling the heli. I notice on your bench setup that its also way under the 10 seconds that your programmer box was reporting. AR bailout seems ok, recover 1.5s, AR timeout set to default 25s, even waiting a minute in either "motor off" or "motor idle" i cant get the 10sec spool up back until a power cycle, and even then it may not work. Bug? any thoughts? I reflashed @ 4.1.00 but no joy.

Hi Tony. Thanks for your comments. It might be a bug. Try setting it up in STO mode and see how it works in this. Let us know how you get on.

Quick question: have you got the transmitter set to external governor & not vbar governor? @@tonymurrell9535

i had this when I downloaded the USB link from face book... I then downloaded the link from the website and that had the correct Firmware upgrade.
My ESC is platinum 200A OPTO version. So there are only 2 version firmware. Maybe hobbywing do not support OPTO ESC [HW160_V1.00456NB]
@flyinfishrcguides1393 Жыл бұрын
@@user-mg5gh1xy5r The OPTO version is supported (see no.2 below from the link above). For Aircraft ESCs : 1.Add new firmware PL-04.1.00-VBar for Platinum HV 200A V4.1 SBEC, Added support for parameter adjustment via Mikado VBar-Control. Optimized Current data ,Soft start and VBar Governor start. fix some bug. 2.Add new firmware PL-OPTO04100VBar for Platinum HV 200A V4.1 OPTO, Added support for parameter adjustment via Mikado VBar-Control. Optimized Current data ,Soft start and VBar Governor start. fix some bug. The new firmware is the same for all of the ESCs.
