Hobbywing & Mikado VControl integration - 80 Amp ESC

This is a quick walk thru of the menus and setup on my Raw 420 with the newly released Hobbywing & Mikado V Control integration. In this video we walk through the menus as we look at the 80 amp ESC and the Mikado V Touch radio.

Stupid question, but how does the wiring work for this? I've just got the 120A v4 platinum and updated the FW as in your video, but I'm not sure what I wire where between the ESC and Vbar. Thanks!

Hi Greg, If I use the Vbar governor. I update the firmware first. Then set it up in my VControl radio. Do I need to do throttle calibration ??? Do I need to do throttle standardization (50% throttle hover) ???

I always teach the ESC the endpoints for each new RCL. I only do the throttle calibration if I plan to run HW Gov.

Hi have you any problem with the esc vbar firmware?Mine with vbar firmware after 5 batteris the esc cut off.After i install the non vbar firmware on esc everything ok

I have had no issues at all with this 80 amp ESC on the VBar firmware. I am approaching 100+ flights. Which ESC and radio are you running?

@@biscaolena I have the same esc.But with the vbar firmware my esc cut off 2 times.After I change the firmware everything ok.Thnxs for your answer.Maybe my esc has problem

Nice! Is your current sensor wonky at all? I had to fool around with percentage used at around 45%

I did not mess with that at all on mine. I ran about 10 flights on the model and tracked mAh reported as consumed on the V Touch telemetry from the HW ESC and compared that to the actual mAh my charger put back into the those numbers were super close (with 5%) so I was really impressed with how accurate the telemetry read.

Somethings to check on.... 1) Did you install the telemetry cable from the ESC to the V Bar Neo? 2) Did you update the V Control transmitter to the latest V Control update?

Do you plug in the esc cable ? What is the telemetry you unplug ? Plz
