Thank you Adam! I just love to fly; I guess that comes across in the videos, hah! This is a really sedate, relaxing flyer, but it can perform some pretty nice maneuvers when you want it to. The knife edge performance shocked me! That little bugger will knife edge to the horizon! All the best to you and Heidi, and Piper, of course!

This is my first ever rc plane. I didn’t open the manual, didn’t use any simulation just put the thing up in the sky… amazing beginner plane it was a breeze!

Hey Justwingit I also have the DX6 and was going to purchase this airplane when you bind it does the safe and all your different switches and modes automatically assign to the transmitter ?

Hi Ricky! Yes they do; after you bind it, the Panic button is the bind button and the SAFE select switch is "A" switch. It should say in the manual and if not, I pointed it out in the Unboxing video I did on this plane at the 17:50 mark kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4PPi3WYpLp4q68. I hope this helps!

Hi, great video, could I ask... You say it's your second flight on a 330mah, I have rft model on order for my first plane 😁 and the stock battery is the 2s 300mah. Was your first flight on a 300mah and could you tell me. What safe flight time you had from it please, as I'm a newbie and I see it doesn't say in the manual. Also in the comments I see 3s mentioned, would this motor be OK on 3s, and what would be the recommended battery? Thank you

@@neilscragg2148 Hi Neil! This is a fantastic flying little plane and I'm sure it will serve you well as a trainer. I flew the plane on 330 mAh as that is what I had on hand, and got about 5 minutes safely out of it. I'm sure 300 mAh is roughly the same. I never flew the model on 3s, so I can't make any recommendations about it either way. Please keep me updated on your first few flights, all the best to you my friend 😊👍

I think the BNF model offering will be in stiff competition with the UMX Timber EVO. I think the EVO wins if you've already got a transmitter.

Good morning Jean-Pierre! Glad you enjoyed the video, this is a nice little plane for sure! I don't think or even know if you can disable the SAFE function as it's part of the software in the receiver and the Radio senses it when you bind it up. No worries, it's on a switch so I usually just leave it off anyway. All the best to you my friend, blue skies and happy landings!

Oui c’est cela John, mais je n’ai pas d’interrupteur lié. Je cherche souvent sans jamais trouvé. Je suis donc obligé de voler avec cet assistant que je trouve assez ennuyeux lorsqu’on en a pas besoin. Si tu as des infos, je t’enverrai Mon e-mail Yes, that's John, but I don't have a connected switch. I often search without ever finding. So I have to fly with this assistant that I find quite boring when you don't need it. If you have any information, I will send you My email

J’ai une radio DX6e et l’interrupteur « A » n’a pas d’action sur l’AX3 SAFE I have a DX6e radio and the "A" switch has no action on the AX3 SAFE

@@Jpierregt Ah! Well, since the manual doesn't address binding to the DX6e (which is a different radio from the DX6) I wouldn't have any idea about how to disable the SAFE using that radio. Sorry my friend I couldn't be of more help!
