his batting average is .254 .. which means for every 1000 times he bats, he will hit the ball and get on base 254 times.. basically, a 25.4% batting average... that is actually a pretty good average in professional baseball.. star players generally bat at about 30-35% .. but 25% can certainly keep u in the league
