Great vid greg. My 3 favorite punch baits: netbait paca slim craw (if you want something that flutters down lots of action), Reaction Innovation Sweet Beaver (my absolute go to), and Yum Bad Momma (picked that up from you). I will also throw a Gambler bb cricket or a why not if the vegetation is super thick and matted. I think you coulda missed an opportunity where that tide was going out through the choke point where you had to lay your rods down to go under that bridge. In my experience bass always sit right on the outside of where that current blows through looking for bait and anything else to be pushed through. Ive had some of my best days ever fishing spots like that. --but you made it happen on the punch bite anyways...who knows there coulda just been dinkers sitting by that current. Awesome Vid! I love how composed you stay during a tourney. I fished a yak tourney a month ago and I lost a big right at the boat, then another i forgot the identifier in the pic.....It just messed the whole rest of my day up. I was in a bad mood, it compounded and came out in my overall effort and I did poorly the rest of day. I need to be more like you when I fish, just shrug it off and keep fishing hard.

I love how greg doesn't spoil if he does good or not in tournys like a lot of other creators. Like they still have good content but it's annoying ash when they're like "Winning 25k on _ lake" instead of titles like his. Keep up the great vids like usual!

Great video Greg I think you had a lot short strikes due to the long trailer on the chatter bait. I’m surprised you didn’t use the worm more. Great video man I love the way you ended the video with the trailer for the thunderstorm coming. Can’t wait to see it.

Hated seeing you loose those good ones man! That is so hard to deal with in a tournament it can really mess with your head. I kept saying to my screen just relax Greg you got this you seemed a little anxious out there. You still put together a limit and culled up. I couldn’t deal with all that recreational traffic though....ugh.... can’t wait for part 2.

Hey Greg, thanks again for yet another fun video. Nice fish under those pads. Great perseverance on your part as always. Question about your boats. I know you love the Native line and of course they make great boats. Have you ever tried a Hobie PA12 or 14? I am not a Hobie rep. I do use a Hobie outback. I was just curious what drives your choice in boats to Native and why would you choose Native over Hobie? Not a criticism just in question to learn from how you choose your kayaks. Thanks, Scott

I have a question...on those fish where you try to set the hook with your chatterbait but somehow the hook doesn't catch their mouth (ie. 14:06), why don't you quickly transition and throw your punch set up in that same area? I know I've been taught this and I've come up with some great results. Just thought I would pick your brain.

Holy smokes! First place went off! The random cast helped you a lot! You should give blade runner’s underspin a chance during the higher tide. Pair it with white 4” keitech and work the islands! Big ones seem to hit it well! Could possibly be something different they do not see often. I catch them bouncing off structures. GL brotha!

I like the idea of human powered only tournaments. It adds a physical fitness requirement to the tournament. Are there some tourneys that have 3 classifications - motor, pedal, paddle? Each has an aspect that requires a slightly different skill set.
