That was definitely a tough day, but when you lose a big bite it does something to you mentally. Hang in there brother you still have day 2 and I’ll be watching to see you bring in a bigger bag. Sending good thoughts and fish vibes that you strike them hard the next day, take care God bless!!

Wind killed me. Had a solid pattern in prefish but on the south end. Took a gamble with the wind and went south and it just didn’t pay off. Keep up the good work!

Thanks brother. Yeah, wind this time.of the year is always a factor. Fish might be there but it's tough to stay on em. Good luck with the rest of the year.

Great video. Curious how day 2 will turn out. I like your bass cave back drop.

Haha thanks man. Day two will be posted in the next few days but it got colder that day and the fish I was on were starting to bed.

Your scupper plugs don't drain?
@str8yakd9 ай бұрын
They do but between my weight and the weight of the things in my kayak pushes the plugs down and actually causes water to come up into the kayak. It's been a bit of a flaw in the design over the years. Plus most of the water was sitting in the back becuase that's where the majority of the weight is and pulling plugs in the back while trying to survive on the water wasn't happening lol.

@@str8yakd I use the Old Town plugs that drain out, have never had a problem. I use a AP 120, I'M 212lb and bring to much shit, lol. Perhaps a different Hobie or a Old Town 130 for you?
