Does Hobie have any Evolve upgrades planned? The 2019 Outback features rudder and transducer kick-up features, to protect from impact underwater. What about a built in shock absorber or kick-up to protect the Evolve in the Mirage Drive position???

Everyone is crying about the price! Top of the line kayaks are all around the same price! Flat bottom boats are cheaper, and for a reason! Plus you can't take a cheap boat everywhere a kayak can go!

Half hour , may be an hour . Not a good option Way too expensive and short lasting. I’ve recently gone with the water snake t 24 , paired with a 50 ah lithium Vmax pro battery. The v max capacity is much larger than the evolve. The total price is a fraction of what I would have paid for the hobie evolve. My work schedule has been busy recently, but I should have some videos posted to my channel soon of the setup in use during my kayak catfishing outings.

Unfortunately , the Hobie Company management won’t read these comments. Getting a skiff or Jon boat is the way to go. There is a lot of competition in kayak gear out there. If the company is that greedy with their electric motor screw the kayak and get a real boat. A loaded Pro Angler is no fun to cart around anyway.

@wisyakman Just be happy you dont live in Denmark as i do.. A Pro Angler + that eVovle motor kit is $8600. Due to the Danish tax system... The ProAngler alone is $4800..

The purpous of owning a kayak is because you can't afford the real thing ! With these ridiculous price they spend just to look poor , absolutely crazy ! No thanks ... I just stick to my cheaper poor jon boat . Atleast I can take some buddy and go faster and safer on water .
