Man that is an awesome Hobie kayak you have. I love how you have it set up. Love those Wheels makes it so easy to carry it. Question? On the drive I did not see the straps that go across the top of your foot. Is that a new option or did you take those off. My reason for asking is I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE with very fat wide toe and my feet will not fit through those straps. A guy at a boat ramp let me try to see if my foot will fit through on there Hobie. He saw how wide my feet were and was curious to And I couldn't get it to fit through. The guy was shocked how wide my feet were. We both learned something at that moment. I want to upgrade to this kayak but I don't know if it's going to work out for me. I have to kayak barefooted👣 because of this. I can't use the foot brace on my kayak because my feet are too wide and they won't stay on they just keep falling off. But I really would love to upgrade to this pedal Drive kayak. It really sucks having big very wide feet I never thought it would affect kayaking. Thought it would only affect Footwear which sucks for me too. Good video brother keep up the good work.
@aaanglers4 жыл бұрын
I kayak barefoot and I took the straps off. They are just annoying . No footwear needed!
@mackjenkins77214 жыл бұрын
@@aaanglers O ok you kayak Barefooted 👣 too that's awesome man. Oh the straps come off ok. I don't see why you need them on the Kayak. I can agree with you with no footwear. I am used to doing things barefooted 👣 anyway because I'm barefooted 👣 95% of the time. The only Footwear out there that will fit me is flip flops which barely fits my foot because my feet are wider than the flip flops strap. Thank you man your information was helpful.

Could you tell me the reasons you went with the PA14 as opposed to the PA12? I'm looking to purchase the PA next year but I'm not sure which model to get. Obviously the 14 has more storage, which isn't really that important to me, and I've read that it's a little faster. Both are obviously very stable, just interested in your reasoning behind the choice. Thanks!

I’ve owned the 12 and it’s not even close. The 14 is the only way I would go, so much more storage and rod holders and room to move. And I fish small waters
