I see a lot of homeless people hanging out at McDonalds to get wifi in my city. They ask for food or a drink some times too if they don't have the money to buy something to be able to stay. Public Library have free wifi too and even free computer access. A lot of homeless shelters have wifi too.

I work kn a homeless shelter, it's infuriating how picky the clients are sometimes 😭🤣 like I understand if some types of soap give you a skin infection but some will throw a fit because you didn't give them a name brand shampoo or cereal, like excuse me? As a former homeless person (I lived in tunnels normally used for diverting floodwater), I think this is an accurate representation of life "out there", but where is the compulsory prostitution? The teenagers setting you on fire whilst you sleep? The other homeless people who would sooner kill you than they would steal from you (they kill you, then steal from you)? Most importantly, where are the narcotics which enable you to sleep on the bare concrete all night OR enable you to stay UP all night watching for anyone who might want to set you on fire? It's actually so sad as for so many, this is their reality, being broke and homeless and having to stay trying to survive outside all day and night in all weather, and being ignored when looking for help and looked down upon and being harassed, attacked and abused daily, it's messed up
