I got the Crescent Moon Delivery hon in A6. You are right, it is much prettier in person.

so beautiful! 😍 I'm planning to jump to a cousin/A5 size from the A6 too for next year, which is exciting! the crescent moon delivery design looks so stunning in the larger A5 HON size!

I love your Hon. I got an A5 Cousin, the snow globe weeks, and a Denali pencil board. I’ve been using Hobonichi for two years. I love their philosophy.

I love A5 cousin so much! So much more spaces to play around and the weekly is a bonus! Love your HON, my 2024 weekly was this designer's. And just as a side note, HON is pronounced HO-N, like own but with an H sound, which means a 'book' in Japanese. :)

That's very nice to know! I really do hope I'll enjoy mine as well 😄 I'm already very excited to use it! Thanks for the pronunciation note as well 🫶

I have the A6 version of this HON but I decided to purchase the A5 HON of the same design because I've never tried an A5 before and I want to try it for a month and if I don't think it works, I will go back the A6 as my memory keeper and repurpose the A5 as a course journal where I don't have to stick with the dates and months and just use them as a reference to which course on which month. I hope you got what I wrote haha

Ohh that's interesting! As for me, I'd like to stick with the planner and make it work for the whole year as much as I can and just change the system the next year if I feel the need too. Thanks for sharing your approach and it's good that you can still find ways to make use of it! 😊

I’ve been admiring this artist’s covers on the Hon’s since they came out, but the shiny-ness of the covers really put me off because I’ve been imagining just a mass of grubby fingerprints all over the cover, but I think using the Cover on Cover would take care of it, great idea. Also I’m frequently finding it necessary to write while I’m laying down, and that cover seems firmer and like it would work better that way than normal Weeks covers…? Nice reveal, thanks for sharing!
@onjerraslist2 ай бұрын
Oh yeah I know what you mean with the fingerprints andI actually hope it's a different material and yes that's another reason why I got the plastic cover. :) Yeah, I think this cover is a little more firmer than the normal weeks~ Thank you so much as well for watching!

@@onjerraslist I think that COC is going to save the day! You do find the HON cover a bit firmer, hey?, That makes me really torn. I don't want to change from the A6 I've been using all along, but the firmer cover and the idea of it being like a hardcover book are really appealing! Gosh, it's almost October, 👻 I have to make up my mind! (Did I mention I just love the bear and dandelion Cousin cover? Augh!!! 😩😭)
@onjerraslist2 ай бұрын
@@pennycandyys Oh I don't have the actual regular weeks with me now, but I just feel the HON is a bit firmer but it still bend a little. Still have few months before end of the year. :) Oh yeah that bear and dandelion is really cute and love mine too!

@@onjerraslist I decided I'm going to order the Michelle Weeks zippered cover! Someone said it is firm enough if I'm writing laying down. Thank you! :)

The grid lines are so tiny and a lot they hurt my eyes. I do like lines when writing and to keep things clean & and neat, but those seem so tiny. Can someone explain what they are for or it just publishers style? I understand the blocks can use for different types of written languages, but that was the English version if I heard you/ her, right?
@onjerraslist2 ай бұрын
Yeah they can be tiny so I don't really write within the grid sometimes and I don't really mind as well. 😅The graph paper (3.7mm) is the standard page design for Hobonichi Techo. Yes I got the English version and it has the same graph paper page design. I've read from their beginner's guide pamphlet that it's meant to be used as a guide when writing in the pages, drawing charts and graphs or pasting papers or photos and that we can write without paying any mind to them at all. 😊

They mentioned not to use a cover on this specific HON but I was wondering is it ok? because I kinda want to put one on mine.

Yeah saw that note as well...So I'm hoping nothing will happen to my cover with the plastic on 🥹
