I would never have known this was your first video - you did a great job! I think it’s funny that you get a French vibe from the striped cover - I do too! I was just telling my husband that it reminded me of our time in Brittany. I wanted an A5 sized black & ivory stripes too, but they only make it in the A6. Yesterday I finally ordered it. I waiting bc I already purchased a few covers September 2nd and I wasn’t sure if I had too many. (Can you have too many hobo covers? lol.) When I went to pay for my order it said the striped cover was out of stock! I wanted to cry. I looked all over for other stores around the world selling them but they were sold out too. Apparently they only have a finite amount of that fabric and when it’s gone, it’s gone. Luckily, I received a notification from Hobonichi this morning that they had 2 back in stock so I immediately bought one. I still can’t believe how lucky I am. I also bought the A6 Sushi Hon bc it’s adorable and bc we’re going to Japan next year for 6 weeks and I want to use it as a learning Japanese/catch all about Japan, a memory keeper and diary. I thought I would use the daily pages for notes on a particular topic, then cross reference it to the index page so I can quickly look up the info I need. Looking forward to more of your videos. Sorry for the late reply, these days are just too hectic and my phone has betrayed me and broke down, so I'm unable to film until it gets resolved... *sigh* It really is just fascinating how many people with similar life events and taste have gathered underneath my tiny little unboxing and it really warms my heart. Thank you for your kind comment and hopefully now the video will come soon! What time of the year are you going to Japan btw?? We're going early spring :)

I'm also getting married on November 9th! I ordered a 5 year techo with the beautiful tweed cover. We are in our 60s, so my entries will be very different from yours 😊 I got the Spy x Family A5 hon and Weeks and stickers. I got the Crescent Moon Delivery hon in A6.

That's amazing 🤗 Your comment really warmed my heart 💚 it shows how people can connect and relate to each on such a specific level despite being in different seasons of life. And very nice choices, the whole Spy Family collection is honestly fantastic and the Hiroko Kubota designs on black shiny covers are just on another level. If only we had infinite time, money and things to plan and track 😄 narrowing down the choices this year was tough.
