I nearly ordered the Bordeaux cover. I just ordered the Cousin Taut Celeste blue cover, brand-new, from an eBay stockist since they’re sold-out on the official site, and I’m certainly going to spray a leather protector on it.. It’s always a good idea to test a small area first. Nonetheless, I won’t mind a few signs of wear as it gains character. I’m upgrading from a Weeks size which I enjoyed this year, but my writing started getting crushed within the narrow pages and I had to stop decorating my entries to make more room for the essential info. Looking forward to the larger creative space in the Cousin.

I keep it in that pouch I showed in the video. It’s worn really well. Has some indents but nothing unexpected. Good luck finding one though. They sold out quick last year and are not back this year.

I love the pouches but found the black one attracts every bit of dust, fluff and fur :( really wish they would change the material.

Thank you for this video!! I am tempted by the taut bordeaux cover but I'm worried about how it might age... I want a leather cover to be durable so I can carry my planner with me but also not have to worry about it. Gahhh....what are your thoughts? Thank you for sharing!

The Taut cover on one hand is tough firm leather, but the polished surface is attracting micro scratches. It’s always the way. I’m ok with that as it shows it’s journey.

I have been trying to NOT buy the taut, but your video confirms that I will hate myself if I do not get it! There are hardly any videos on it. thank you for making it. May I ask what is the insert in your Traveler's notebook? It looks like one big insert instead of the smaller ones.

You will love it, honestly. It’s beautiful. The insert is Kunisawa Find Note. It’s a boutique Japanese paper company. Truly the nicest paper I’ve come across so far.

Yes it’s beautiful. Softened up a little which is good. It does scratch easily and gets micro scratches so that’s something to be aware of.
