I have the sounder on the landing at the max volume for those base sounders at 98db.

I remember being woken up in a hotel during the night by the fire alarm, unfortunately at that time I wasn't interested in fire alarms, but it couldve been hochiki aswell

Ah yeah i fitted a aico mains detctor too, just wanted to see what they were like. Pleased to say they were easy to install.

I have an Aico system too I have one heat and one smoke and I'm the one who tests the system

I got an different hockiki base sounder, it’s all wired in working but sounder don’t work.

What type of sounder do you have, Also what panel are you using it on.

@@ASSystems it’s called a CHQ-BS and using a kentec series 6000 panel

@@uksds3806 You sure you panel is a hochiki protocol version ? and make sure it is wired correctly. Not sure but you might either have to get a detector put on the base to get it working to give it an address or you need a programmer.
