Once upon a time a fantastic racing track called Hockenheim. What they did with it is unforgiveble.

Je entièrement d'accord avec vous. C'est une honte ce qu'ils ont fait. Ne parlon même pas des formules 1 actuelles. J'ai toujours adoré le bruit des formules 1, surtout les douze cylindres des Ferrari, les 10 cylindres ou alors les 8 cylindres. Actuellement j'ai l'impression que les formules 1 font le même bruit que ma tondeuse à gazon. 😢

Sadly had to be done for safety reasons as they couldn't improve the forest section due to it being right on the property line.

I am from Hockenheim. This was the best Ring ever. I have ridden it with my bycicle a hundred times 😍 Its sooo sad that the old Ring is gone for ever.

Super schönes Video,danke fürs hochladen. Ich war 1987 auch am Hartbachdamm und hab mein erstes Formel1 Rennen live angeschaut (ich war damals Fan des deutschen Zakspeed Teams).Die Geschwindigkeit und der Sound der Boliden war besonders am Hartbachdamm so richtig zu erkennen. Einfach Hammer.Ich hab danach die Formel1 noch 7 mal bis 1995 im Motodrom angeschaut,hier war die Stadionatmosphäre sehr imposant,aber die Geschwindigkeit der Autos erlebte man am Hartbachdamm viel beeindruckender.Das man den alten Hockenheimring abgerissen hat ist eine Schande(es wurden die Interessen der echten Motorsportfans einfach ignoriert)

That is not a Ferrari but a Dallara (most kindly Martini driving). However that year was running with 1991 Ferrari V12 engine (developed).

i was only a few months old when this footage was taken, lucky enough to go to the gp in the v10 era, and today, the highlight of the gps nowadays is the two seater minardi with that V10..... My lord i i wish i heard these in RL.

@@the_razr The last Ferrari V12 was in 1995, for 1996 a law was passed where all engine manufacturers could only use one specific spec of engine, hence why everybody changed to V10's from that point onward.... Obviously Tyrrell didn't listen coz they stuck with V8's until 1998 lol

@@buziochi3941 Very sure. The Sauber C12 test car, not being an entry had no number and yellow front and rear wing end plates. If you slow it down you can even see a white number on the front nose cone and a number on the rear wing end plate. All the sponsors had pulled out of Andrea Moda by Silverstone, which left the S921 monotone black for those 2 races. Both cars did not pre-qualify for the race. They gained a few sponsors for Hungary and Spa but they were suspended by FIA for good.
