Appreciating this one today bigtime! Just trying to get a hang of the system and the strategy tips you added regarding line setup, placement of triangles, squares, etc have been really helpful as a new player. Thanks for the awesome Hockey Blast content as always 👍

Good stuff, Rob! I liked hearing about how you set your lines, with the defensive squares and offensive triangles. I think you left out the 2nd part of the penalty process: you roll a second time and read the right-hand side of the penalty chart to see if the designated player gets a penalty or not and whether it's a major or minor penalty. I just mention that here, in case any newbies are watching this video. You've played the game a lot, so I'm sure it just slipped your mind to mention it. And I think you're about the same vintage as I am, so I know how the mind can falter sometimes! 🙂 I also liked the way you went through each of the dice rolls one-by-one, and explained each one. That's a good way to explain how the game works. Peter

Great thanks Peter. Yeah still pretty nervous/anxious doing these . Hoping to relax at some point.

Like your idea: if one guy is willing to fight and the other one isn't then the player who was willing to fight gives his team immediate momentum. Less rolls and it makes sense...

How long does a full game take realistically?
@Gitch_Games Жыл бұрын
I am done in half an hour or less. That is why I enjoy the game so much. Quick and realistic results. But mind you I have played enough times I have the face off charts and play action charts memorized. Like any game, the first two three times will be longer, and then time will shorten significantly.

I’m thinking long and hard about it! Love your layout where you don’t even have to move cards to change lines

Nice job. Are those pawns from the old game, Powerplay!
