Just yesterday, at a public hockey session in my area, one of the guys forgot to take off one of his skate guards and he fell. He was fine and even laughed it off

This happened to me in the Chicago Bauer tournament when I was a kid. Finals of the tournament got all pumped up listening to the music on the speakers and ran out with my guards on. I’m a goalie too so no one could see I had them on still. I fell right away then got up and somehow managed to skate to the bench before noticing I left them on.

Me too. I grew up figure skating and once I stepped on to the rink with a skate guard, absolutely ate it, competed with a bloody nose, and still took home the gold. Never give up
