Honestly I'm surprised the camera in the back of the net doesn't get broken more often. It's a reasonably big target, and NHLers shoot fucking hard

Jack Edwards is like if you took the drunkest Bostonian in a bar who had never watched hockey, gave him a headset, and all he knew was his life savings was riding on the Bruins money line.

whenever i listen to the boston feed on nhl channel i mute the sound. they are by far the worse announcers in the league. they remind me of a couple of 12 year olds. avalanche a close second. when they go off they sound like 11 year olds. how either of these announcers got their jobs is beyond me.

Hockey is the one sport where i absolutely would get the most protection i can. I would never play without a cage protection helmet. Or without neck-cut-protection of any kind. I seriously do not care about gear when I'm freestyle skating, because the worst that'll usually happen is some bone breaking and or bruises, unless you're very uncareful. But of course even when just regular skating you can kill yourself in some ways. But hockey? I take all precautions there because you can easily get injured by others.

The goalie for the level up from me got hurt in his game, so my Dad offered my services. I was 11, and my pads were so old that the pants had wooden sticks for padding. My mask was a plain, white Jason-style mask, and my leg pads were about 1 inch thick. The first shot I took caught me in the chest. I'm pretty sure my heart stopped. I got so dizzy, but of course, it was 1981, so no one cared. The next shot caught me in the toe and flipped me onto my face. We lost the game, but I learned how to deal with pain in one night. Thanks, Dad.

I mean the bruins one was almost legitimate. Goalie was way outside the crease and was in possession of the puck. Lucic didn't have to throw his arms into it though so i can see why the opposite teammates were pissed

Jack Edwards is like warm beer compared to classic Bruins voices during 1970s-1990s. Best radio announcer Bob Wilson. TV commentator Fred Cusick Johnny Peirson. Dan Kelly. Edwards isn't even a million miles near that echelon. Apparently Bruins now organization can't find quality announcers.

Oh Connor Bedard, where do I even start? You are an absolute superstar on the ice, my friend! 🌟 Your talent and skill are out of this world, and watching you play is like witnessing pure magic. From your lightning-fast skating to your incredible puck-handling abilities, you leave fans in awe every time you step on the rink. 🏒 But it's not just your physical abilities that make you stand out, Connor. Your dedication and work ethic are truly admirable. You've shown us all what it means to put in the time and effort to become the best. You've faced challenges head-on and never backed down, always pushing yourself to reach new heights. Your passion for the game is contagious, and it's evident in every play you make. Not only are you an exceptional player, but you also carry yourself with humility and sportsmanship. You're a true role model both on and off the ice, and that's something to be celebrated. Your positive attitude and respect for the game inspire others to follow in your footsteps. Connor, you've accomplished so much at such a young age, and I have no doubt that your future in hockey is incredibly bright. The world is watching as you continue to make waves in the sport, and I can't wait to see what you'll achieve next. Keep chasing your dreams, my friend, and know that you have a whole army of fans cheering you on every step of the way! 🙌🏒🔥

The Dunkin Keith elbow is some B.S. A couple minutes prior Sedin did the exact same thing to Keith. I watched it live on that day, and reviewed it on my DVR. Sedin would be suspended as well on the modern day rules. He had it comin'. The sisters were floppers like LaFlop James. Sorry, that's not fair. They were really great for the most part. That's as clean as I can Make that.
