Hockey Tape/ 'Goon Tape' First Impressions

I hate that I think this looks cool.
Grip tape on general is very practical for many situations but I've always thought tape on a pistol grip looked goofy as hell, but now ... For whatever reason, I really kinda like this.
Maybe because it's m81? Maybe I'm huffing paint, you tell me.

Im planning to order some howies hockey tape for my guns and just wondering when you remove the tape will it leave A sticky residue?..

After wrapping it does the tape feel sticky?

I ended up trying this out and noticed the tape felt sticky. like the adhesive was going through after awhile

Goon tape is a superior product, I use in kettle bells. Howies wears out and thread bares into little balls within 4 workouts. Goon tape, I’m on countless workouts without wear…

So far the Howies has treated me great, I work outside, sweating, bending, squatting, army crawling through attics, etc. It has only been a couple weeks though so we shall see! Maybe I'll have to give the GT a try.

@@mrrj44 Honestly, it's been fantastic. No balling up, no wearing through.... This is just for the camo tape though so far. The black Howies tape feels a little different so I'm trying that now. I also peeled the camo tape off and while it stuck to itself like it was super glued, it left ZERO residue. Highly impressed overall.
