For people who are wondering this is the inspiration for ice hockey not the other way around, Ice hockey is very different

This is field hockey but in Australia we don’t do field hockey cuz we don’t have that colder climates like America does so that’s why ice hockey is more like when someone says there doing hockey in Aus some people think of ice hockey then that person has to say no field and the person is clueless and then people think ice hockey s more dangerous well-last season of ‘field’ hockey one of the toughest boys had their chin pads on (they are realy touch to hurt your chins (legs) ) but he ended up get hit with the ball in his left chin (leg) below the knew) and he was crying he nearly broke his leg

You hit it like that the ball will rise hence a foul..... You don't let it point the sky but slightly incline it towards the ball.. I'm sure that's why you don't show us how the ball goes after hit in your video

Thanks for your opinion but it doesn't lift for me and it's what I've been doing for 25+ years. If it's lifting for you then you might want to look at the rest of your technique.

I remember those days when iam go up in hockey from others players but the cleaner of the truf have kids and the blame on me of thiefing hockey balls after this i leave hockey after 5 years i saw hockey

You wear gum shields so it wouldn’t break their teeth, but it might break their nose
