I couldn't believe my ears. I cleared the air with the boss, a CEO of One of the top four biggest chainsaw blade manufacturers in the world back then...so, he of course knew some of the stuff I overheard was not my recommendation...of course not... It's like the Charles Bronson movie The lache papers where he says Don Vito if you show me the proof of what I did wrong I'll take the pills right in front of you. Joseph..... who says you did anything wrong?.....kiss☠️ Dom berto de' MORRRRTE‘😮 I didn't like what was going on overall, but that's why I negotiate differently when it comes to work where I'm here to help I'm not your damn employee and you're not my damn employer, I'm here to help and take care of your problems and therefore this is how much I want and there won't be any more problems. He said it's very high but worth taking the chance to find out and I told him I'll work for free until you make up your mind and I'll trust you on it. He said no, of course that is not necessary and I told him just let me do my thing and you'll be happy believe me. A few months later he gave me a raise. So what... I had already sold out in more ways than one and didn't realize it but at least I had the werewithal to not only feel not right about this thing but also a building up of contempt for everybody in there. So, it's wash up time and ready for lunch and I bitched about something to the backslider whose life I saved which is nothing unusual. The bitching is a two-way street and it's just talk but all of a sudden I can see this piece of s*** has become more and more empowered and I don't need to be a fly on the wall in the boss's office figure out what's going on here because even if I am wrong I'll just make up my own goddamn reality, but for sure very much unlike anybody would even dare to attempt. He says to me if you don't like it why don't you go open up your own shop? This is a worm who almost 2 years prior to that his first go around where I was the new guy and he was the bosses advised go to guy and after a few months like a dummy in of all places, Portland Oregon area, where I was still just not quite smart enough to realize or recognize just how much of a never-more wretched hive one will see of pure scum and villainy.... .... Me and him buddy buddied up and agreed we were going to partner up and open up our own shop....lol, looking back at that and I'm not even talking hindsight is 20/20 I mean if the guy once a week was giving me a thousand $ to get on his knees and lick my nuts, I don't care what kind of rosy story one could paint I would never confer or delegate or engage and such ridiculous and catastrophic dialogue and ideas with anyone I've only known for a couple of years let alone 2 months man how trusting and stupid I was but definitely not a sucker just stupid. And this piece of s*** says this to me where I know stare directly in his eyes for 3 seconds and took one step closer to him and I said: Ok..... Along with another few more seconds of a straight poker face. I was in my mid-30s at the time and already moved a few mountains and going into my '50s I did a 3-year stint in the oil fields of West Texas where I worked on average 15 hours a day for 7 days a week 6 to 7 months at a time no days off and for me that was easy. I fought for my own life more than once I saw one co-worker lose control and go off the road with this rig only to take his head....CLEAN off his body... And I stopped my truck of course and walked out into that pasture to discover what I just said and I must admit it was a surreal experience but just the same and now a much more powerful poker face, because the man now behind the eyes knows how to operate and once again that's why I'm working the oil field not working in it and I'm making much more money than any of these guys and I'm making more money than I ever made in my life every month taking home five figures.... I stared at the mayhem and Carnage and as I turned around and walked away I said to myself better him than me he got what he deserved the piece of s***. Of course..... That's why I'm not dead right? That was easy. Rewinding back to that scenario in Oregon where I said okay, out of all the epic challenges I have tooken on, prior to this and or after, nothing compared to the cataclysmic nightmare of what was to follow where the golden moment was not when I said okay but the moment just after that if not a millionth of a millisecond more after, never in this piece of s***'s wildest dream did he ever think I'd call his bluff. ....and 3 years later, I did it. I'm not going to mention the nervous breakdowns and all the rest.... Perseverance.....I've always prevailed and they have always doubted and in this particular case when it was official that I did it, the reason why I am righteous even years and years later staring at this beheaded coworker and cold bloodedly so, it's reasons stemming back to those final lessons I needed to learn ending with what was beyond a nightmare and on that day it was official, I have no idea where that piece of s*** was at the time or what he was thinking because up until that point I hadn't seen the guy for almost 3 years and that's all I thought about on that day for a few seconds and that was I wonder where he is and what he's doing. ..... You didn't think for one second did you that I was going to give that piece of s*** the satisfaction of masturbating to my own just desserts I mean like who gives a s***. The pie got shoved in his face the millisecond after I said okay because once again never did he think I call this goddamn bluff and that's enough nightmare for one man to deal with forever and he can play all the games he wants with his own mind however he wants to ignore it or dismiss it or God forbid face the truth and whether he is or not I really don't care and never did because when I said okay just like anything else these days and more so when I say yes or by say no there is no turning back. When I said okay then it was a done deal and he just didn't know it and neither did I but like my father said but not in a good way do you know what your problem is Paul when you put your mind to something you never stop and I looked at my father and slowly nodded my head and said yeah yes you are correct....

love this body style so much this chevy guy just went out and got a 69 to built like a superstock. could not get a hemi but i did find a 440 for cheap for the street. too bad i need to put mufflers on it. end of winter in the great white north and need my burning rubber fix soon.

About his problem shifting? You guys need to be informed . , , in full race form, the syncros are ground off, Herb McCandless, Dick landy, they all had race mods for competitive advantages. But on the street its not a friendly set up. I dont think the road is long enough, by the time hes into the throttle , its loading up the spark plugs. Its beggin for more rpm to smooth out the signal to the venturies. That cross ram intake and motor is design to run at Wide open throottle, and not much else. . And no traction on that crappy street. Not worth putting it in the ditch . Akron Arlen is a Great part of super stock History.
