It took me back to my childhood visiting relatives who lived “out in the country” when I was a little girl. This episode took me back to my grandparents farm. We still have many similar items. It was even a German builder that build their farm house many years ago in Canada. We still have German families settling to this day here and building new homes. I noticed a few favourite recipes as you thumbed through the cookbook, chocolate zucchini cake, poppy seed cake. These cakes are still sold at our church fundraisers. This episode was very nostalgic for me. Thank you very much, Lady Mary Beth.
